Thank you for volunteering with Well Beyond Community Outreach, Inc. These terms apply to all volunteer participation.
Volunteer Relationship
Volunteers serve without compensation or expectation of employment. Volunteers may be asked to complete an application, orientation, and any background checks required for a given role.
Conduct
Volunteers must treat all neighbors, staff, and fellow volunteers with dignity and respect, maintain confidentiality of those we serve, and follow staff direction at events and program sites.
Safety
Volunteers agree to follow safety instructions, use equipment appropriately, and report injuries or hazards immediately. Volunteers serve at their own risk to the extent permitted by New York law.
Media Consent
Photographs of volunteers at events may be used to document and promote our programs. Volunteers who prefer not to be photographed should notify staff at the event.
Removal
We may end a volunteer’s participation at any time for conduct inconsistent with our values, policies, or the law.
